I can’t think of anything more fulfilling than creating a community through social media and helping entrepreneurs grow their brands through the power of social. After working for myself for over a decade now, reading more “find your passion” books and podcasts than I’d like to admit; and assuring my parents that, yes, I really do have a real job even though I don't go into a traditional office, I’m starting to come to terms with the fact that I’m really great at three things: strategy, creating engaging content, and building community.
How exactly did I arrive at social media marketing? Long story short, through my previous line of work, wellness blog and social influence, I discovered a love for content creation — both written and visual — while collaborating with local and national brands as an Influencer.
Naturally, this propelled me into managing social media accounts for various clients. I shifted my focus from managing to consulting and coaching clients, because I want to help business owners and solo-entrepreneurs the ropes to making social media their arsenal tool in their marketing efforts. By doing social media the right way, you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish in growing your business.
I believe in the power of social media and rich content to exponentially increase opportunity for brands, big and small. You don't need to hire a social media team to optimize your online marketing efforts; You simply need to know how to do it the right way!
In 2007, I graduated with a BS in Marketing from FIDM in San Francisco. That may seem like centuries ago in internet years, but don’t worry, I’m on top of all the new tricks and trends when it comes to the world of Digital and Social Media.
